Opening
Griseo sat perched on a rocky outcropping, focused intently on the canvas resting against her knees as the morning sun began to rise over the horizon. Her purple eyes flickered back and forth between the landscape and her painting, brow furrowed in concentration as she worked to replicate the scene before her.
"A little more yellow here..." she murmured, dabbing at the canvas. "And some white there..." Each addition of color was carefully considered.
After a time, Griseo let out a contented sigh and began packing up her art supplies, satisfied with her work. "The world has changed so much..." she mused aloud, her soft voice tinged with wonder. "But the colors, they are still as beautiful." Sighing, she brushed dust from her thighs and stood before slinging her bag over her shoulder.
