Most chats and character activity are associated with your account. If you choose to publish, share, or make content public, that content and related metadata may become visible to other users or the public. Please do not share content you do not have permission to share.
If you are in the EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction that requires a legal basis, we generally rely on contract, legitimate interests, consent where required, and legal obligation.
Depending on your actions and our configuration, we may use:
These providers process data under their own terms and privacy notices.
We may share personal data with service providers that process data for us, with other users or the public when you choose to publish or share content, with advisors or acquirers in business transactions, and with law enforcement or regulators when required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, and security.
We do not sell personal information for money. Some analytics or advertising tools may be treated as "sharing" under certain privacy laws. If applicable law gives you the right to opt out of that sharing, contact us and we will process the request as required.
We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the Service, maintain your account, preserve conversation history you choose to keep, process billing and refunds, review safety or abuse reports, and meet tax, accounting, legal, security, or dispute-resolution requirements.
If you delete your account or request deletion, we will stop using your data for active service purposes except where retention is required or permitted by law, needed for security or dispute handling, or kept in limited backup systems for a short period.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, object to, or restrict certain personal data. You may also withdraw consent where processing depends on consent and opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link.
You can update profile information from your account, delete content where product controls are available, cancel subscriptions from your billing portal or account billing settings, and manage cookies in your browser or device settings.
California residents may also request information about categories of personal information collected, disclosed, or shared and may request deletion or correction as provided by California law.
We and our providers may process data in countries other than your home country. When required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is not intended for children under 13, or under the minimum age required in your jurisdiction. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should use Swerve only with consent from a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us so we can review and delete it if appropriate.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version here and update the "Last Updated" date. If the changes are material, we may also provide additional notice.
For privacy, data, or legal questions, email support@swerveai.app or use our contact page.
This policy is meant to describe our practices in plain language. If you need advice about your own legal rights, you should consult a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction.
