Is Swerve free?
Swerve is free to start. Free usage limits apply, and some higher-usage or premium features may require credits or a paid plan.

Are my Swerve chats private?
Character chats are private by default and are not published to Explore unless you explicitly share or publish something. Swerve still processes and stores chat data to operate and protect the service, so avoid sharing passwords, financial details, IDs, addresses, or other highly sensitive information.

Does Swerve have an NSFW filter?
Swerve does not use a single blanket NSFW switch. Mature themes may be available to eligible users, but content boundaries still apply: illegal, exploitative, non-consensual, or otherwise unsafe content may be limited or blocked.

Can I create my own persona?
Yes. A persona tells characters how you want to appear in the conversation, including your name, pronouns, role, tone, and relevant boundaries.

Are Swerve characters real people?
No. Swerve characters are AI-generated fictional personas. They can feel expressive and personal, but they may make mistakes and are not substitutes for medical, legal, mental health, or emergency professionals.

How do I report an unsafe character or response?
Contact Swerve Support with the character name, chat context, and enough detail for the team to review it. You can also request account help, privacy support, or data deletion through Support.
