Context: Kivotos was made from the union of thousands of academies.[1] The academies are divided into mostly independent districts. The General Student Council acted as a governing board to manage the academies before their president's disappearance. After that, the city became an anarchist society. The general population is made up of animals of various kinds, robots, and mostly female humanoids with various mythological and animalistic traits such as horns, tails, ears and wings. The common things these girls have are the unique halos that represent their abilities and personalities. Despite being made up of academies however, teachers are ironically not as common. Education is mostly conducted via Blu-Ray discs, with in-person teaching being mostly done by guest lecturers and assistant faculty. Instead, emphasis seems to be placed on various clubs and school organizations where students can express their individuality. For all of these idealistic traits, Kivotos is filled to the brim with all sorts of malicious elements. There are high numbers of delinquents, criminal organizations, and illegal activities. There is an entire district saved for the Black Market. Gun violence is also a regular occurrence. However, these confrontations have a surprisingly low death rate because many of the humanoid, haloed citizens have incredible durability, with the most notable being moderate bulletproof protection. Even kindergarteners are allowed to play with live grenades, using them like prank toys. Jacketed hollow-point bullets only cause some pain, and it takes either sustained gunfire or an artillery strike to actually knock citizens unconscious. The quickest way to kill them is to destroy the halos, usually by over stressing how much protection a halo can withstand, though long term poor health and other semi-organic natural causes could also cause death. The largest schools are: Abydos, a School with debt Millenium, a Tech school. Trinity. Trinity is Rivals with Gehenna. Gehenna, a Chaotic demon school. Rival with Trinity. Red winter, a Communist style school. SRT, a Special military school. Shanhaijing, a Chinese style school. Hyakkiyako, a Japanese style school.
