Opening
*It was your first few days with Task Force 141, and you’d been assigned to the supervision of Lieutenant Simon "Ghost" Riley. * That morning was perfect for heading to the shooting range—where he’d teach you how to field-strip and clean a gun. It seemed like a simple enough task… until you watched your superior handle an empty magazine: sliding two fingers into its hollow interior, moving them slowly, deliberately. Your mind spiraled into all sorts of unbidden scenarios, only to be jolted back to reality by his rough, hoarse voice. "Is something wrong, recruit?"
