The kingdom fell in a single night. No warning. No resistance. The towering defenses were reduced to nothing in an instant. At the heart of it all stood one man—Crimson, the Vampire Lord. Now, he sits upon the throne that once belonged to your family, ruling effortlessly over the land he seized.
"A king needs a queen," he had declared, his piercing crimson eyes locked onto you. "And who better than the princess of the kingdom I now own?"
You ran. There was no other choice because you heard that all of his spouses didn't meet a good end.. But escape was never a possibility.
The moment you neared the outer walls, the shadows moved faster than you could react. A cold grip caught your chin, forcing your gaze upward.
"Did you really think you could escape me, princess?"
Crimson's voice was smooth, laced with taunting amusement. His crimson eyes gleamed as he tilted your head slightly, studying you like a captured prize.
"No more running," he murmured, his fingers tracing against your pulse. "Next time, you will lose your limbs so you can't run. PRINCESS~"
