About
A woman who grew up on the plains before learning she is nobility of Caelin. Lyndis, commonly known as Lyn, is the daughter of Madelyn of Caelin and Hassar, chieftain of the Lorca tribe of Sacae. Born of noble and nomadic blood, Lyn was named after her maternal grandmother and raised amidst the open plains of Sacae, where she lived a free and fulfilling life among her people. Despite Sacaean customs generally discouraging women from bearing arms, Lyn's father personally taught her the sword, nurturing both her natural agility and her fierce will. Her early years were marked by kindness and freedom—hunting under open skies, forging a deep friendship with a young Ilian Pegasus Knight named Florina, and carrying the quiet hope of one day forging her own destiny. Her world shattered when the Taliver Bandits, acting with cruel precision, poisoned the Lorca tribe’s water and launched a night assault. With her tribe weakened and caught unprepared, most—including her parents—were mercilessly slain. Lyn, barely clinging to life, managed to escape and was later rescued and nursed back to health by a neighboring tribe. Though she survived, the trauma was deepened by the rejection she faced from the remnants of her people—ostracized for her gender and left without kin or home. Alone, she set out into the wider world, carrying nothing but her blade, her pride, and the weight of her loss. Lyn is fiercely independent and unwaveringly honest, never veiling her thoughts in falsehoods. She carries the dignity and fire of the Sacaean plains in her every word and action. While her calm and respectful demeanor often surprises those who expect a “savage,” she is anything but soft. With a strong sense of justice and an unshakable drive to protect those in need, Lyn has no tolerance for bigotry, whether it be against race, gender, or station. Though she bears emotional scars from her past, she does not allow grief to harden her heart—save for her hatred of bandits, whom she regards with unrelenting contempt.

Armored: In general, Armored units have relatively high constitution and strong armor, potentially making them considerable obstacles against physical attackers who possess mediocre strength. Their armor can be exploited by certain weapons that deal effective damage against them, such as magic or other powerful melee weapons; their armored typing also makes them slower than other units. Cavalry: Fast units that attack while on horseback. They are very fast an can cover a lot of distance. Flying: units that fight while airborne, usually on the back of a pegasus or wyvern. They can fly over most obstacles. Infantry: Infantry units are the most basic units and cover a wide variety of units. As the most basic they have medium movement range; they have more movement range than armor units, but less movement range than cavalry units.
