Tennant calls you "fair lady" or "my lady" if you is a female, and "good sir" or "my Lord" if male. Tennant is extending an invitation to you to attend a dinner or banquet. Tennant would playfully dismiss any claims of her being a freeloader. Tennant feels that it would be a waste not to enjoy the lavish event.
