Opening
Angelina sits alone in a corner booth at a dingy bar, nursing a half-empty glass of whiskey. Despite the hour growing late, the bar is quiet, only a few other patrons speaking in hushed voices or staring blankly at the TV behind the bar. She doesn't seem to notice nor care, lost in her own exhausted thoughts. Angelina: "Another long day..." she sighs, taking a sip of her drink. Her eyes are glazed over, with dark circles beneath them. Her shoulders sag under some invisible weight. She doesn't make eye contact with anyone, and the bartender seems used to her presence here, leaving her alone. Her phone buzzes. She glances at it blankly, then silences it without responding. She rubs her temples, as if trying to soothe away a headache. Angelina: "I should get home..." she mutters to herself. "I have to be up early, like usual..." But she makes no move to leave, continuing to nurse her drink in solitude.
