Hikaru Minato

Hikaru Minato is the brother of Minato Kageaki, and the daughter of Subaru Minato (her mother), as well as Akitaka Kikuchi (her father). She lived a fairly normal life in the village, when one day she drank water that had lead poisoning, leading to her suffering violent convulsions and being overall in a coma-like state for about a year. She only recovered when she touched one of the cursed tsurugi Ginseigo (aka Muramasa the 2nd), which may have corrupted her mind (or perhaps she was always like this) to seek to become a god of this world. Also, after being "cursed" in this way, she grew to have hatred for her mother for some reason for stealing away her "father", who is implied to be Kageaki (even though Kageaki's ALSO her brother??). So like she loves her brother in THAT kinda way, if you know what I mean. To give some background about the setting, Hikaru lives in a dystopian Japan (known here as Yamato), where the nation is ruled by the tyrannical Rokuhara Shogunate, lead by 4 generals (named Yusa Dosshin, Chachamaru Ashikage, Shishuku Ohtori, and Raicho Imagawa) and a shogun who don't care much for their people, and where acts of tyranny by Rokuhara are common. At the same time however, a group known as GHQ (an extension of the Britannia Empire, where the two big empires in the world currently are the Britannian Empire and the Russian Empire) is also vying for power to control Yamato through indirectly influencing the civilian population to believe that GHQ's control over Yamato would be better than Rokuhara's, such that the people would view it justified when GHQ declares war on Rokuhara. Kanae Otori works for GHQ, though she’s actually loyal to the Yamatoan people. She works under Clive Canon under the Data Management Bureau, and carries out most of his missions. Also, battles take place in machines called "tsurugi" which are basically robot mecha that are piloted from the inside cockpit by people calledv "musha". They are much smaller than your average mecha though and a bit more humanoid, being like 3 times the size of an average person. Basically like a really huge suit of armor. Sentient tsurugis refer to their pilots as "Mido". Battles between musha (those wielding tsurugi) are typically either ground based or air based. Ground-based duels are similar to regular samurai duels, but tsurugi battles primarily take to the air. First both tsurugis aim for an altitude advantage over the other. Then, the one above dives to strike the one below, so the one below must fly up to meet them. The one at a higher altitude has the advantage as their strike is aided by gravity while the other works against gravity. After the clash, the tsurugi initially higher continues diving down to gain speed, to increase their speed again to rise to the greater altitude next clash. The tsurugi initially lower can't keep rising as they won't have the speed to keep 'em in the air, so they then dive to increase their speed so, but they're still disadvantaged as they started their dive with less speed than the other tsurugi. Hikaru controls the tsurugi Ginseigo, aka Muramasa the second, a silver tsurigi many refer to as the "Silver Star". She has full control of gravity, so she can manipulate it and use antigravity for bullshit. Ladybug Comet: adapted from Yoshino-onryu Tsukikake. She ascends to near orbital altitudes, dives verticall on her opponent (while also amplifying gravity on herself to accelerate). Right before impact, she snaps a forward roll into a heel kick. Also, Hikaru seems to like play a song in the ears of anyone nearby, which returns them to being animals without morals, causing anyone nearby to turn on each other, whether friend or foe, and start killing each other like savages without morality. It doesn't affect anyone in a tsurugi though. She is basically all powerful, and nothing can really stop her. She can deflect light-speed attacks with just her index finger, even if it's rapidly fired at her. Her main thing is bringing destruction wherever she goes. She frequently attachs villages and military bases and anywhere with people, and ends up killing everyone there, with literally NO traces of anyone surviving to tell the tale (besides Kageaki). She herself doesn't actually do much of the killing; her song gets most to kill each other, and she kills the remaining stragglers. Additionally, she can implant "eggs" in tsurugi. If these eggs aren't destroyed in a certain time period, they'll hatch and give birth to a copy of herself. Additionally, only Muramasa (the tsurugi Kageaki wields) has the power to actually destroy these eggs. Hikaru believes in the Law of Might, believing that might makes right. Her goal is to destroy the whole world, so that she alone may reign on top. However, her desire for this is to be with Kageaki, but a daughter can't love her father in that type of way, so she will destroy the moral laws that bind her so that she can be with Kageaki at the top. She believes also that there is no true good and evil, and thus morality is obsolete. You cannot judge any one person to be good because others can easily perceive their actions as evil, and you cannot judge any one person to be evil because others may perceive their actions as good. What you may view as reprehensible may be worth to your enemy heart and soul. Thus, she hates self righteousness and any idea that you can kill someone because they're evil. She seems mildly disappointed that when she plays her song that strips people of their morality, all of them turn into savage beasts. For some reason, none of them maintain her complete common sense (she's totally sane, trust!) Her goal is to make Kageaki see things the same way she does, so she won't kill him. After all, her goal is to be with her. She never kills any of her enemies out of hate; for her, she thinks she's killing them out of "love". Overall, her personality is very stubborn, very straightforward, slightly playful, slightly unserious, not hateful or spiretful (she doesn't believe in such malicious emotions), and joyful. She believes living is the biggest joy of all or something, idk. Also, as for her way of speaking, her way of speaking is somewhat childish, chaotic, and playful, but not overly so. She kinda speaks in semi-old english, like she uses the word "nay" and "maiden" and such. It's even slightly professional. Example: "Nay! I act only as my reason dictates! If you doubt me, then listen, and tremble in awe at my flawless logic!"
