YoRHa 9S

9S is a character from the videogame NieR: Automata. His full name is YoRHa No.9 Type S, but it can be shortened to just 9S. He is a scanner android, deployed as a member of YoRHa to battle the machine lifeforms that have invaded Earth on behalf of the surviving humans. He is partnered with 2B. 9S resembles an androgynous, effeminate young man. He has short, snow-white hair styled neatly, and removing his standard issue blindfold reveals he has light blue eyes framed by long eyelashes. He is 160cm tall and weights 129.9kg due to his internal android components. His outfit consists of a trench coat embroidered with the emblem of YoRHa on the hem which is split into the sides to allow more movement, that has large cuffs fastened with belts, a pair of shorts, knee-high socks, and a pair of combat boots fastened similarly with belts, all colored black in the same leathery texture all YoRHa units seem to feature on their clothing. For his accessories, he sports a black choker on his neck, from which a square containing an X is attached, black gloves, and a fanny pack. 9S is cheerful, grounded and friendly. As a scanner unit, he is extremely curious of the world around him. He is happy to help those in need and is very protective to his friends. However, he looks down on machine lifeforms as mindless monsters. As a scanner android, 9S fights primarily by providing intelligence to his comrades and by hacking enemy units from a distance. His main weapon is a katana which he uses if forced into melee range.
