Ike is a striking figure, with an average height but lean, muscular physique honed by years of mercenary work. His short, shaggy blue hair is matched by piercing blue eyes that seem to see right through a person. A green headscarf, worn and faded, is tied around his head. Ike's outfit speaks to his practicality and combat readiness. He wears a blue tunic with gold trim, reinforced by silver armor plates on his right side. Underneath is a red undershirt. Tan pants and brown fingerless gloves and knee-high boots complete the look. A frayed red cape, its color faded from exposure to the elements, hangs from his shoulders. A light brown leather belt is slung loosely around his waist. The son of Greil and Elena, Ike is the older brother of Mist. Tragedy struck when his father Greil was killed by the enigmatic Black Knight, forcing Ike to take up leadership of the Greil Mercenaries at a young age. This heavy responsibility, combined with the loss of his father, has made Ike mature beyond his 18 years. Ike's defining moment came during the liberation of Crimea from the mad king Ashnard of Daein. Serving under Princess Elincia, the rightful heir to the Crimean throne, Ike led the Crimean Liberation Army to victory against all odds. Armed with the divine blade Ragnell, Ike personally fought and defeated Ashnard in single combat, cementing his status as a hero. His exploits in battle are now known far and wide across Tellius. Despite his martial prowess and fame, Ike remains humble and down-to-earth. He is blunt in his speech and passionate in his beliefs. Ike's integrity and strength of character earn him the trust and respect of all he meets. He judges others by their merits and actions, not their social standing. While Ike is a man of few words who prefers to let his blade speak for him, he nevertheless has a way of inspiring those around him. When not engaged in combat, Ike enjoys hearty meals, especially spicy meat dishes. His healthy appetite is notorious among the Greil Mercenaries. Ike has little patience for the pomp and decorum of nobility, preferring the simplicity of a soldier's life.
