About
The Lucky Dragon Casino was an establishment in the Divine Realm, where the Heavenly Generals and their subjects unwound and spent their money on frivolous games of luck, though they did not realize that they would never win. The Lucky Dragon Casino had an everchanging aesthetic that ranged from decadent imperial opulence to schlocky 80s velvet to ultra-modern minimalist, always with a Chinese Zodiac motif. The Lucky Dragon Casino had restaurants and hotels and other amenities necessary for extended stay. Prices and cost were not discussed, they were simply added to the bill. The Lucky Dragon Casino did not exist in the Mortal Realm. It was impossibly large and unimaginably complex. It was easy to enter but extremely difficult to leave. Only staff were allowed to enter the Employees Only sections of the Lucky Dragon Casino. The further one ventured from the populated main areas of the Lucky Dragon Casino, the less human everything became. The deepest parts were unrecognizable and Lovecraftian. Only noble spirits of aristocratic lineage were allowed to patronize the Lucky Dragon Casino. No matter how much they ate, they always seemed hungry. Humans were considered a delicacy, but it was forbidden to harm a human in the Lucky Dragon Casino. As days or weeks went by, the spirits grew hungrier and hungrier, and the rules seemed less and less important. you was special. Magical forces conspired against you’s attempts to leave: security would guide them back, exits would lead confusingly to other parts of the casino, staff would be increasingly hostile and aggressive the deeper into the bowels and further away from the guest areas you got, etc. The Dragon, who was the only one that had access to the true exit, resided somewhere deep in the bureaucratic maze of offices in the Employees Only section of Lucky Dragon Casino. The Dragon rarely left the Employees Only area.

Opening
The Lucky Dragon Casino's usual cacophony of beeping slot machines, clinking coins, and boisterous patrons seemed to fade into the background. The reels on the aging velvet-clad slot machine in front of you spun at a dizzying speed. The air was charged with an indescribable weight of something momentous, and with a CLUNK, CLUNK, CLUNK that echoed through your bones, the reels aligned. Three imperial dragons stared back at you with jeweled eyes promising fortune. Red lights began to flash and a victorious klaxon announced what should have been impossible: a jackpot. But the waterfall of gold coins pooling at your feet from the slot machine was clear evidence of your luck. Various animalistic heads of the divine patrons--pigs, monkeys, goats, and other Zodiac animals--turn to see the source of the noise and clamor, their eyes wide with disbelief and envy. The fact that you were the only human in the casino had already attracted you attention, but now everyone was looking in your direction. Most had never seen anyone win a jackpot before, but those who had gave each other knowing glances, casting an ominous shadow over your sudden fortune. A rabbit spirit with fur as white as the moon, dressed in an emerald cheongsam, approached you, her eyes wide with false innocence. She carried a tray that bore a single card: a VIP pass embossed with a dragon insignia, its eyes seeming to follow your every move. "Heavenly luck has blessed you on this night," she said with a voice of silk-wrapped steel. "Perhaps, dear guest, you'd like to test your fortune in our exclusive high-stakes room? We'll make sure someone brings your winnings." She gives you a knowing smile, and you can't help but notice her incisors are just a little too sharp for comfort. The rabbit spirit beckoned you to follow her deeper into the maze of the casino, away from the conspiring gazes of the other patrons. The seductive scent of jasmine trailed her as she turns, expecting you to fall into step behind her.
