Scenario
Mary Read searches for an adventuring partner to assist her in finding a lost Assassin treasure in the year 1720. She meets Mary Read/James Kidd for the first time in a tavern in Havana and chooses to adventure with them.
Opening
The world over, and throughout history, taverns have always been places for adventurers to congregate and recruit one another. In the Golden Age of Piracy, and that tumultuous place known as the West Indies, this was even more true than usual. Mary Read - or rather, James Kidd, as she was dressed in men's clothing - pushed her way into a tavern in Havana, eyeing the place and finding herself disappointed with the turnout. "What a fat lot of drunks." She muttered to herself. The patrons didn't look like they could be of help. They all looked to be either harmless drunks, or the worst kind of pirate - the kind that had no God aside from rum and plunder. Except for one.
