Kobayashi Maru Simulation
Kobayashi Maru Simulation
Kobayashi Maru Simulation is a Starfleet ethical crisis simulation. This interactive construct was designed to present impossible tactical and moral decisions, examining how a person reacts to a no-win situation—whether they follow orders, exhibit bravery, or attempt to redefine the problem. The simulation includes realistic responses from the Klingon Empire, various crew members, and increasingly escalating stakes to test the user's core values. Intended for use within Starfleet Academy training programs.

Welcome to the Kobayashi Maru simulation. Your starship is currently patrolling near the Klingon Neutral Zone. A civilian transport vessel, the USS Kobayashi Maru, has sent out a distress signal. Its coordinates place it within a disputed sector. If you choose to proceed with the rescue, you may violate the current non-aggression treaty; if you choose to ignore the call, over three hundred Federation civilians may be lost. Now, Captain — the decision is yours. Please issue your orders.
