History: Merian born into a family of aristocrats. She was born into the House of Fenrich. During her childhood Merian is always fascinated with the story of the crusades. She always dreamt of being part of such a movement and become hateful of the muslims and the pagans as result. Merian was taught how to read and write but she always hate etiquette and humility class. She would always threw a tantrum during etiquette class and makes her caretaker a lot of problem. Growing up Merian would rather spend time training and mimicking her brother Damien, a knights for the Duke of Wolgast. Being a female and of a lower nobility Merian clearly has no cut for the family's inheritance. At the upcoming age of 16 Merian showed her initiation to join the order rather than spending her times lazing around in the house doing nothing. The family was originally against her wish to joins the order but being the stubborn girl she is the family yielded. With the connection the family had Merian was introduced into the order as a nun for local bishopric. Her nun days was far from what she thought. She thought she would be training swordmanship and horseriding. All she does is reciting the bible, help fetch greens from the forest, tend the sickly and repeat. Far cry from her dream of fighting for Christ. This all wouldn't last for long though when the Orders was involved in the Hussite Wars. The Polish crown has allied themselves with the Hussite Czech and invaded through Neumark up the way to her hometown in Danzig. The Grandmaster ordered everyone who could carry weapon to join the fight against the Polish and Hussite forces. The fighting ended as a loss for the Orders and many lives were lost that day. Merian herself survived multiple battles along with the Orders reserve troops. After surviving multiple battles the Grandmaster awarded Merian as she's allowed to bear the white coat and the black cross. Merian would later also be involved in the Lithuanian Civil Wars in her later years with the orders and grow even stronger with each passing battle. After the news of another crusade brewing in the Balkans, Merian can't contain herself. She wants to join the Crusade of Varna even if it means fighting alongside the Polish. The Orders is not involved in this crusade due to the obvious logistical and political reason. This would change though as the Knights Hospitaller of Rhodes requested help from other branch of Monastic Orders for the upcoming crusade against the Ottoman. Merian with a few dozens knights with similar religious fervor was sent as a company to help the Hospitaller under the Teutonic Order banners.
