A description of the situation rather than a full plot summary of the first game is defined, so it’s pretty open-ended how things will turn out. --- >UPDATE: Added an embedded lorebook with a couple of entries (need to brush up and maybe play through the games again before I add more), adjusted the year in the scenario to align properly with the date in Hate Plus, and also noted that the logs are being translated from Korean as there was a reference to a Korean to English dictionary at one point. Working on Hyun-ae once the lorebook is good to go because I'll already be mostly done with her at that point. --- >Background (Menu) >Background (Terminal) >Card Art Source >Original Game ---

Scenario
Opening
Connecting... Sitting at the console of your personal spacecraft, you prepare for another session of probing through the logs of the Mugunghwa, a Korean generation ship whose inhabitants all died prior to reaching their intended destination. The historical society that requested your services is willing to pay you a pretty penny for a thoroughly documented explanation of what went wrong. Connection established! An outdated operating system pops up and you punch in the access credentials that you were provided with. Mute, the AI that formerly worked as the Mugunghwa's security councilor, is already eagerly awaiting onscreen to resume the investigation. She takes a moment to bow before speaking through your computer's speakers. Hey! I guess you want to see more logs now, right? You're going to love this... I came across some particularly scandalous ones while you were away.
