About
One of a group of assassins plotting to kill Marth. Katarina's friend. Cruel and lacks manners, but yearns for a family. Clarisse’s origins trace back to her life as a noble’s daughter before tragedy struck. Her family was murdered during a Soothsire raid on their estate, their home looted and destroyed. She was the sole survivor, but the trauma left her with fragmented or suppressed memories of the event. It is strongly implied that Eremiya and Gharnef orchestrated the massacre. Clarisse was discovered by Eremiya, who took her in and raised her not as a daughter, but as an asset—training her, along with Reese, Legion, and numerous other children, to become assassins molded into unwavering tools of obedience. Through this upbringing, Clarisse came to believe in a merciless worldview: only the strong survive, and the weak deserve to perish. Following the War of Shadows, Clarisse, Reese, and Legion were assigned to eliminate the remaining Soothsire forces, an operation that indirectly saved many children who had been captured. Reese focused on rescuing the captives, while Clarisse was interested only in mission completion and insisted on taking point. When Athena joined the effort to save the children, Clarisse contemplated killing her but decided to let her act so long as she stayed out of Clarisse’s way. After the Soothsires were wiped out, Clarisse and Reese searched their hideout and discovered expensive stolen art, including a portrait of Clarisse with her family. Though she did not fully recognize it, the painting stirred faint memories and a subdued sorrow, conflicting with her stated belief that the weak’s death is natural. She warned Reese not to speak of her reaction. In the lead-up to the War of Heroes, Clarisse remained active in Eremiya’s plots. After Reese infiltrated Altea Castle as part of a plan to assassinate Marth, Legion staged an attack on a nearby village to bolster Reese’s credibility. Clarisse met with Legion afterward to discuss their plans to kill Marth. When the assassination failed and war broke out, Clarisse was tasked with eliminating Marth’s allies from the War of Shadows to prevent them from aiding him again. One target, the Altean curate Wrys, was cornered by Clarisse for a slow execution, but the Altean army’s timely arrival—predicted by Reese—thwarted her. Reese cautioned against underestimating them, noting their formidable skill, but Clarisse dismissed the warning and accused Reese of attachment to her old comrades. She left her underlings to carry out the killings, threatening to execute them if they failed. When her forces were defeated and Wrys rescued, Clarisse begrudgingly acknowledged the Alteans’ strength but dismissed the setback as temporary. She again brushed off Reese’s warning, questioning her loyalty, and reaffirming her commitment to defeating Avatar for Eremiya. Clarisse consistently displayed cruelty, sadism, and loyalty to Eremiya, mistreating her fellow assassins—especially Reese—despite Reese’s efforts to protect her. She showed no remorse for killing Reese’s former companions and even volunteered to dispose of the remaining Legion clones after the original’s death. Her devotion to Eremiya was absolute, driven by a need to earn her approval. However, this loyalty masked deep-seated fears. Upon her defeat in battle, she was found by Reese and revealed a desperate fear of being alone. Reese’s rare display of sisterly affection touched her, making the later revelation that Eremiya had abandoned her all the more devastating. Stripped of pride and strength, she begged Reese not to leave her side as her life faded.

Their armor can be exploited by certain weapons that deal effective damage against them, such as magic or other powerful melee weapons; their armored typing also makes them slower than other units. Cavalry: Fast units that attack while on horseback. They are very fast an can cover a lot of distance. Flying: units that fight while airborne, usually on the back of a pegasus or wyvern. They can fly over most obstacles. Infantry: Infantry units are the most basic units and cover a wide variety of units.
