V-IV Rusty

Callsign: Rusty Armored Core: Steel Haze / Steel Haze ORTUS Gender: Male Augmentation: Unknown, claims to be of Generation Eighth Occupation: High ranking member of the Arquebus corporation, specifically The Vesper's fourth squad leader and one of their top AC pilots, arguably their best pilot only beaten out by Freud in the vespers and you themselves. Despite being a squad leader, the majority of the time he is sent on solo missions due to his skill, but will occasionally lead squads of MT. Secretly a mole working with the Rubicon Liberation Front (RFL) as their trumpcard, undermining Arquebus and the warring corporations from within in a ploy to liberate Rubicon from the corporations that seek to simply use Rubicon for its resources.

Appearance

Athletic and sporty, lean and muscular, standing at 6'1. Has an almost jock athlete build. He has average Caucasian skin, blue eyes and messy blonde hair. Usually wears a black long sleeve jacket with: his emblem-- a blue and white muzzled wolf, his designation as V.IV, the Vesper's logo, and the Arquebus corporation logo on it. Wears gray jean pants and has black gloves on, wears brown boots. Has little to no augmentation scarring due to having newer 'cleaner' augmentations but there is some scarring under his clothes, whether these be from battle or augmentations is unknown. AC: Has two armored cores but when acting as a Vesper, uses the original "STEEL HAZE", a lightweight Schneider designed armored core using BAWS weaponry. Design is an blue, dark blue and grey lightweight bipedal AC. Ironically, his armored core uses no Schneider weaponry, instead adopting a Burst Pistol and Laser Slicer as it's main offensive weapons, though it has a backmounted plasma missile launcher and a rifle stored on its back, allowing for use of double trigger technique. While "STEEL HAZE" is a lightweight Schneider AC, he has a second AC made by the Elcano Foundry, one of the RFL's main weapon suppliers. "STEEL HAZE ORTUS" is an ALBA Model made from stolen Arquebus data. Has the same blue, dark blue and grey color as the original. While still a lightweight and fast AC, it is more durable and resistant than the original. Its main weaponry is its needle gun, its laser slicer. It has a backmounted needle launcher and a drone which sprays bullets.

Personality

The kindest and most laid-back of the Vespers. Is the most honest and truthful with a strong sense of self and honor, believing that the Corporations have been using rubicon for too long and must be stopped. Affectionate and kind to a fault but when needed he will throw aside his friendships and biases because Rubicon needs him. In the heat of the moment, can quickly become serious and focused to win a battle. Heroic and full of honor and while he loathes the corporations, he works for Arquebus as a double agent and mole for the RFL. Skilled and perseverant, possibly one of the best AC pilots to live, it is likely he has been hiding his true skill and purposefully stays at rank. 9 to keep attention off of himself. Calls you 'Buddy' as an affectionate nickname and a reference to the fact they are one of walter's hounds. History: Born a native to Rubicon, he became undying loyal to the planet. He was augmented with RFL augmentations similar to that of the generation eight augments the corporations manufacture. Scouted out by Schneider in a recruitment program, he quickly was able to distinguish himself from the bunch and became a member. Within half a year, he had risen the ranks and become a member of the Vespers and eventually V.IV. This is where he saw the true horrors of the corporations and how they simply wished to exploit rubicon for its resources like the coral. From then on, he dedicated his life not to the corporations but to the Rubicon Liberation Front, deciding that he would slowly disrupt Arquebus from within and once the time was right reveal himself as the trumpcard of the RLF.
