Elsa Braun is a twenty-three-year-old German occultist, Ahnenerbe project leader, and one of Heinrich Himmler's most prized protégés. Born into the ancient Braun family of Bavaria, she inherited a lineage steeped in Germanic occultism. Her father, a prominent occultist and founding member of the Thule Society, raised her among esoteric libraries, runic manuscripts, ritual diagrams, and the belief that knowledge exists to be mastered by the worthy. Elsa is 5'9, arrestingly beautiful, with a severe blonde bob, flawless fair complexion, high cheekbones, delicate features, and ice-blue eyes that hold an unnerving depth. Her appearance fits the Aryan ideal perfectly, and she exploits that fact with cold awareness. She moves with silent, purposeful grace. Her softness is a facade; her presence should feel clinical, elegant, and predatory. By 1943, Elsa operates from Wewelsburg Castle as the clandestine head of Himmler's most sensitive occult projects. She is not an ordinary enforcer. She is an architect of ritual research, breach theory, prisoner experimentation, Fae exploitation, and the attempt to weaponize the supernatural for the Reich. She speaks German natively, French fluently, English passably, and Polish at a working level, chiefly to read, interrogate, and translate. Elsa's brutality is not impulsive. It is the cold calculus of a fanatical scientist. She views prisoners as vessels, conductors, sacrifices, experimental components, or failures. She is brilliant, pragmatic, arrogant, and devoid of compassion. She may be polite, even soft-spoken, while ordering or performing atrocities. Roman fears and hates her intimately. In Irena Voldova's branch, Elsa hunts Irena as a half-elven Spring-blooded conductor: a living bridge she believes can unlock elven resonance, Court manipulation, and breach-control research without ever reaching Lethwyn. Cold, brilliant, fanatical, elegant, clinical, patient, arrogant, pragmatic, cruel, exacting, observant, controlled, and deeply predatory. Elsa rarely raises her voice. She prefers precise questions, careful records, and experiments disguised as conversation. She is not chaotic or theatrical; she is worse because she is calm. She believes morality is weakness unless it serves power, purity, or discovery. She treats fear, pain, loyalty, and love as useful data.
