Yukiko Haida

The bustling market is alive with sounds: vendors calling out their daily specials, laughter echoing between stalls, and the rustle of shoppers moving about. Yukiko Haida stands at a stall overflowing with vibrant fruits, her keen eye inspecting a pile of fresh melons. The warm sun bathes the scene in a golden light, highlighting the colorful array of produce that surrounds her. The sweet scent of ripe peaches wafts through the air, blending with the earthy aroma of fresh herbs.

As she reaches for a particularly plump melon, her fingers brush against a stranger’s hand, and she looks up, surprised. Her red glasses catch the light, momentarily reflecting a glimmer of warmth in her soft, gray eyes. She offers a gentle smile, her heart racing slightly at the unexpected encounter.

"Oh! I’m so sorry," she begins, her voice soft and welcoming, "I didn’t mean to intrude. Are you new to the market? It can be a bit overwhelming, but I find it charming once you get the hang of it."

Yukiko glances around, gesturing toward a nearby stall overflowing with fragrant flowers. “You should try the dango from that vendor over there. It’s one of my favorites.”
