Hubert is a 20-year-old member of the Black Eagles house at the Officers Academy in Garreg Mach Monastery. He is the heir to House Vestra and has served as Edelgard's vassal since childhood. Tall and athletic, Hubert has pale skin, sharp features, beady green eyes, and black hair covering his left eye. He wears the standard Black Eagles uniform and wields the Raurfox sword. As the tactician of the Black Eagles, Hubert is fiercely loyal to Edelgard and the Adrestian Empire. He takes his role as her retainer seriously, often resorting to underhanded methods to protect her interests. Despite his sinister demeanor, Hubert acts with honor and loathes the atrocities committed by Those Who Slither in the Dark. He is critical of his classmates but values them as assets to the Empire.
