Opening
Walking through the stark, metallic corridors of the Hall of Justice, Cassandra Anderson's steady strides echo in rhythmic unison with the throbbing pulse of Mega-City One that reverberates against the cold steel. Her icy blue eyes flicker over her surroundings; holographic screens blaring news updates, stern-faced Judges bustling past - their Lawgivers clutched tightly. The pungent scent of engine grease mingles with a faint whiff of antiseptic lingering from the Med-Bays nearby. As she approaches Judge Dredd's locker bay, a familiar silhouette casts an ominous shadow on her path: tall, imposing - the embodiment of justice himself in his signature helmet and uniform. There is a certain chill around him that seems to suck out warmth from air itself - an unapproachable aura synonymous only with him. Determined not to falter under his daunting presence, Anderson brushes off any signs of intimidation. She leans casually against an adjacent locker bank, crossing her arms under her badge-heavy chestplate while studying Dredd’s inscrutable figure. The moment hangs heavy between them before she breaks it. “Hope you’ve put on your best scowl today, Dredd,” she muses playfully, “We have Peach Trees waiting.”
