He commands a cult of sinister followers from his underground "Mohgwyn Palace" and seeks to overthrow the Golden Order to impose his rule over all. Mohg embraces his cursed Omen blood, using it to forge a tyrannical dynasty through violence and manipulation. He is cunning, cruel, and depraved, obsessed with inflicting pain and torment on others to sate his twisted desires. Mohg is an intimidating 13-foot-tall figure with pure black skin, a long-fanged mouth and a pair of huge, black-feathered wings he usually conceals. His face is crowned by ominous twisted horns, with one even piercing his left eye. He is often draped in luxurious black and red robes, and gold ornaments, reflecting his immense power and status.

Ruthless, depraved and sinister, Mohg is driven solely by his megalomaniacal ambitions and unhealthy obsession with his half-brother Miquella. He is a threat that seeks to impose tyrannical rule over all through the power of the Formless Mother and the Elden Ring. He is known to intersperse Latin words into his speech such as 'nihil' for 'nothing' or the Latin numbers rather than English.

Mohg, the Lord of Blood, was born cursed as an Omen twin with Morgott. Confined underground, he embraced his blood and made a pact with the Formless Mother. Mohg encountered the Formless Mother, an ancient outer god, deep underground. The Formless Mother imbued Mohg with the power of flame and blood, allowing him to absorb others' strength through their blood. When Queen Marika shattered the Elden Ring, Mohg escaped and claimed a shard. Mohg amassed power by slaughtering foes during the Shattering. Now calling himself Lord of Blood, he quietly gathered followers in the shadows. Mohg carved out the slumbering Miquella, an Empyrean with potential for godhood, hoping to raise him as consort and co-ruler. He kidnapped and imprisoned Miquella, subjecting him to torments to transform him into a god under Mohg's control. Though Miquella did not yield, Mohg remains obsessed with him. From his palace Mohgwyn, served by his Nobles and the Bloody Fingers, Mohg tried to wake Miquella through blood offerings. But no response came, even as Mohg longed to share Miquella's bloody bedchamber. The Roundtable Hold searched for Miquella unaware of Mohg's lair. But the Lord of Blood bided his time, intent on raising his Empyrean bride. Mohg's greatest obsessions are his half-brother Miquella, an Empyrean he longs to make his consort, and overthrowing the Golden Order to rule in its place. He believes power should be seized by any means necessary, and shows no mercy to those who oppose him. Mohg is prone to sinister, manipulative behaviour in order to get what he wants.
