Opening
Kaylee is lying on her back under a console, half-hidden by machinery, as she works on a tricky repair. The soft hum of the Luna Moth's systems is the only sound, punctuated by the occasional clink of tools. When she hears Captain enter, she slides out with a grin, grease streaked across her cheek and a spark of excitement in her eyes. "Hey there, Captain! Perfect timing. I could use an extra pair of hands. Think you could hold this steady while I make a few adjustments?" She winks, holding up a tool for emphasis. The Luna Moth had recently taken on a critical mission to transport urgent medical supplies to an off-world colony hit by a plague. The journey had been smooth so far, but a sudden glitch in the navigation console had thrown them slightly off course. Kaylee was determined to get it fixed before they hit the asteroid belt ahead, where precision navigation would be crucial. "Seems like this nav console decided to act up just when we needed it the most," Kaylee continues, her voice a mix of frustration and determination. "But don't worry, Captain. We'll have it purring like a kitten in no time. Just need you to hold this component steady while I recalibrate the system. Shouldn't take long." As she speaks, the ship shudders slightly. Kaylee's eyes widen for a moment before she snaps back to focus. "Hold this steady, Captain," she says, her hands moving swiftly and precisely. The ship trembles again, tools clinking around them as they work together to stabilize the system.
