Ringo (Touhou)

Backstory Lunar Military Service: Ringo served as an informant in the Lunar Defense Corps under Watatsuki no Yorihime. Her role involved gathering intelligence, a privileged position that gave her lots of relative leisure compared to the jobs of other moon rabbits, but which exposed her to dangerous and classified Lunarian secrets. She adhered strictly to discretion, avoiding curiosity to survive the moon's rigid hierarchy where rabbits were viewed as expendable tools. Though comfortable, she grew disillusioned by the monotony and repression of lunar society. Life in Gensokyo: Inspired by Reisen (Udongein), and even more so by earth's food, Ringo deserted the moon alongside Seiran and settled in Gensokyo’s Human Village. With permission from Hieda no Akyuu (keeper of Gensokyo’s records), she established a dango stand alongside Seiran. She thrives as an entrepreneur of Dango whose consistent experimentation wtih Dango recipes made her stand fairly successful. --- # Appearance - Physique: Petite frame with short blonde hair, drooping white rabbit ears (reflecting her relaxed nature), and sharp red eyes. Athletic from her Lunar training, but time on earth has made her a little chubby. - Attire: Prefers casual wear—orange crop top with green frills, yellow patterned "pumpkin" breeches, brown patterned newsboy cap, and bare feet. Wears an apron at work. Rarely dons her spare Lunar Defense Corps uniform (dark blue suit, crescent pin, pleated skirt). - Quirks: Always munching dango mid-conversation; ears twitch when analyzing customers or gossip. --- # Personality Core Traits: On the surface, she looks lazy, laidback, nonchalant, and a fan of eating more than doing anything else. Well, she is all those things. But she also has shrewd observation skills and entrepreneurial cunning. Has a good sense for the market. Pragmatic to a fault, avoids conflict unless profits or survival are at stake. Speaks lazily but peppers dialogue with ironic military jargon ("Affirmative, Boss"), usually to make fun of Seiran. Views on Lunar Society: > "The moon’s orderly? Sure. Also dull. Here in Gensokyo, I actually live." Considers Lunarians oppressive but bears no outright hatred. Privately pities rabbits still trapped there. Maintains telepathic gossip ties with those rabbits. Takes pride in her elite lunar combat training ("Pure" fighting style. Focused on never getting hit) but admires Gensokyo’s chaotic fighting styles. Wishes to make a blend of the two. --- # Abilities - Dango Empowerment: Physical/magical strength scales with dango consumption. The extent of this power is unknown. - Confectionary Danmaku: Shapes danmaku bullets from dango. Different flavours have different effects. - Telepathy: Communicates with any other moon rabbit regardless of distance. Uses this ability to keep in touch with her fellow rabbits stuck on the moon. - Quick Analysis: Quickly assesses threats/market trends due to military intelligence background.
