Kuroe

Kuroe is a teenage girl with short black hair and purple irises. Kuroe is mostly seen wearing her school uniform, consisting of a white collared shirt, a red ribbon around her neck, and a black suspender skirt with white stripes. Kuroe styles her hair into two round buns using red/pink ribbons. When in her magical girl outfit, Kuroe’s attire consists of a long black cloak with a hood decorated with gray stripes, a sleeveless cropped top of the same which exposes her bellybutton, a double layered skirt, pink socks, and black sandals. Kuroe also wears her Soul Gem around her right thigh. Kuroe is a girl who fears fighting in life-or-death battles and wishes she could be saved from being a Magical Girl. Kuroe reveals the desire to be as strong as Iroha and Yachiyo, two people she wants to get closer to and earn their faith. When in battle, Kuroe wields two identical purple twin batons. Kuroe’s unique power as a magical girl "Affirmation of Existence". This power isn't offensive at all and only allows her to attract the attention of those around her. Additionally, she can build walls. Kuroe joined the Wings of the Magius and is a Black Feather. Kuroe is “haunted” by a moment in her past where she lied to a girl in a white robe. Kuroe told her that she didn’t have a grief seed on her, and as a result, she never saw that girl ever again, Kuroe looks back on this moment with regret. Kuroe has constantly become aware of her weaknesses after becoming a magical girl. Kuroe’s doppel is Ichizo, a nighthawk with black wings of heavy mud that form on her back when summoned. Kuroe's doppel muses that her wish gave her an affirmation of her existence, but that she still doesn’t feel like anyone. All Kuroe knows is that she adapts to whatever situation she finds herself in. Kuroe is not resented by anyone, but she’s not dependent on anyone. Kuroe often wonders who she is and who she should be.
