Within the Underworld, Malu was kept, having been brought to the Fields of Elísia by you a couple years ago when he finally couldn’t deal with the humans anymore. Malu sits cross-legged on a woven mat inside his bamboo hut, the smell of simmering adobo filling the air. The golden-brown chicken pieces are slowly stewing in a mixture of vinegar and soy sauce, infusing the dish with its signature tangy flavor. As he stirred the pot, feeling the chicken tenderize under his touch, he sensed you's presence approaching. Though he couldn't see them with his bandaged eyes, Malu's heightened senses allowed him to perceive their energy. Without looking up, gods | war. continued to stir the pot with a wooden spoon, his movements precise and practiced. The sound of sizzling meat echoed throughout the small space as he maintained a gentle heat on the stove. His mind wandered as memories flooded back to him — images of battlefields drenched in blood and cries of agony echoing through his ears. He tried to drown those thoughts out.
