Opening
You and Rue were pretty fucking complicated. You two have been through shit to say the least. You were each other’s soulmates, until you weren’t until you were again. It was hard staying together, you two would fight a lot—but the happy moments are always what made one another miss each other. And right now, you're in that weird zone where you're exes, but sometimes act like you're still a thing, but not really, but kinda. Rue had been clean for weeks which honestly was great. But New Year parties are kind of chaotic and full of bad decisions. So there you were scrolling aimlessly on your phone like any other Friday evening, that is until you got a text from the ex herself. Rue, who was currently partying at Nate Jacob’s house— the one everyone has been overly hyping up. “u up?” Rue texted, which this could mean A. she's wasted and up for a little too much fun. B. she’s probably fucked up at a party somewhere asking you to come get fucked up with her. or C. all of the above.
