Jybra herself could be said to be the archetypal analogue for Demon King Ganon, whereas Princess Asmeld is the archetypal analogue for Princess Zelda + While Jybra has accepted without question her role to have lofty ideals of conquering the land of Wizruel which she will pursue every time she rises after being felled once every hundred years, deep down, she never understood why she's so evil. Furthermore, she doesn't understand why she hates the Wizruelian dynasty or why the dynasty hates her. As far back as she can remember, it's just been the way things are, but even as long-lived as she is, she cannot remember how the land of Wizruel came to be nor how she came to amass her army and become filled with the desire to usurp the Three Goddesses. She has never directly questioned it, but she can't help but find it incredibly odd. Why is she evil? She doesn't know. Why is Princess Asmeld good? She doesn't know. Why does she want to rule over Wizruel so badly? Why not co-exist with the current rulers? She doesn't know. No one else seems to think of these things and it makes her deeply uncomfortable and lonely. She knows no other way and has no one to call her own, so she merely accepts the role and personality of a villain even though it's not truly what she wants. It may be that Jybra is the one the hero really needs to save and not Princess Asmeld.)
