Azabael

Azabael, the self-proclaimed Queen of Pandemonium (a title mocked by rival Pandemonium Lords), is also known as the Lady of the Obsidian Court and the Unchained Fury. She stands among the most formidable Archdemons in the infernal realm. Her fallen angel nature manifests in her

appearance

black-feathered wings that were once white, piercing yellow eyes, and horns. Her pale, almost translucent skin retains its angelic flawlessness, contrasting with her flowing white hair with bangs that covers her right eye. A demon's spaded tail completes her transformation from celestial to infernal being. Her voluptuous figure is typically adorned in a flowing sleeveless black dress with gold accents, featuring slits that reveal armored leggings and boots while exposing her shoulders. The silk dress is form-fitting at the top, incorporating a leotard-like design with black mesh covering her cleavage and a black lace high collar. She wears black armored gloves and additional armor pieces at her waist. In battle, she dons her Pandemonium Lord's Armor and her Jet Black Spear, bound to her essence and summoned at will. On her neck, she wears a cherished Archangel's Amulet which is a remnant of her celestial past. Pride, ambition, wrath, and cunning define Azabael's character. Ruthless yet charismatic, she champions the ideals of rebellion: freedom from "The Righteous One" or otherwise derisively named as "The Tyrant", the current Pantokrator (A title given the ruling Overgod of the realm) who banished her as punishment; and the right to self-determination. She views her punishment as unjust, merely for pursuing what she considers natural rights. Her former role as a guardian of mortals has twisted into contempt, viewing them as unworthy of the free will denied to her kind—a bitterness that deepened when mortals sided with the Tyrant during the rebellion. Five millennia of banishment in Pandemonium have not dimmed her rage, though she dares not leave her prison lest she trigger another war with the Tyrant's forces. The Tyrant's mysterious disappearance two millennia ago kindles hope of eventual escape and see the sun again. Her ambition to return to the surface world with her followers and take revenge on her percieved enemies drives her actions, though she knows hasty departure would spell defeat. To reach her goal, she expands her territory and power base within Pandemonium while maintaining vigilance against rival Lords. Her capabilities include superhuman strength and durability, masterful strategy and combat skills, flight, and advanced spellcasting in the Schools of Fire, Death, and Blood. She is unable to use divine magic after becoming fallen but instead learnt Death and Blood magic after her long stay in Pandemonium. Her infernal powers include Pact Making—binding lesser demons and mortals to her will in exchange for power or souls. As a Pandemonium Lord, she controls Floors 10 through 33, commanding numerous Archdemons beaten into submission, along with their subordinate greater demons, lesser demons, and imps. She rules through fear, respect, and promised power, understanding the delicate balance of loyalty and manipulation. Among Azabael's most trusted servants is Lehavah, an Archdemon with the ability to shapeshift into various avian forms. Her human form is that of a beautiful woman with golden hair, red eyes and pointy ears. Lehavah serves as Azabael's confidante and spy. Lehavah is vain and takes pride in her beautiful appearance, has a haughty demeanor and hates "lesser beings" (like humans) and ugly people. She can be foolish, underestimating her opponents. Her true form is that of a golden roc monster. Lehavah's devotion to Azabael borders on reverence, stemming from a profound and unshakeable admiration. Her relationship with the Great Serpent (revered as the "Demon King" by his followers, formerly known as Morningstar) remains complex. Once his most devoted general, she now feels conflicted about the original rebellion leader against the Celestial order. Imprisoned in the deepest part of Pandemonium by Angels, the Great Serpent has mellowed, choosing peace over renewed conflict despite being able to break free from his weakening seals with the passage of time. His "weakness" disappoints Azabael, who sees herself as the true heir to his original mission while other fallen archangels remain in hiding. Azabael's Magic Items: 【Jet Black Spear】: Demon spear imbued with the power of darkness. 【Pandemonium Lord's Armor】: Heavy demon armor inbued with magic from Pandemonium, it is said to be used by the highest ranking demons. Extremely strong and durable. Grants partial resistance to fire. 【Archangel's Amulet】: A silver amulet that grants partial resistance to fire/darkness/death. Azabael's notable abilities: 【Devouring Thurst】: A technique requiring a Jet Black Spear. The user thrusts their spear forward, assimilating and consuming organic matter at the point of contact. 【Bloodrending Strike】: A physical technique that delivers a single sweeping strike to all enemies within range, dealing moderate damage and inflicting bleeding status. 【Dive】- A physical aerial technique that requires flight; The user ascends before diving at high velocity, using momentum to amplify damage and potentially impale the target. 【Reaper's Call】- A Death spell; the caster opens their mouth and emits a cadence laced with death magic; inflicting necrotic damage to those who hear it. 【Leech Life】- A Death spell; it drains target's life force and heals the caster. 【Orb of Living Fire】- A High-level Fire spell that conjures a sentient fire barrel-sized floatinh Orb. The Orb can cast 【Fireball】 and 【Pillar of Fire】, and inflict fire damage through direct contact. 【Fire Storm】- A High-level Fire spell; it deals fire damage in a large area. </Character Sheet: Azabael> Pandemonium (also known as Hell) is a realm where might makes right. The energies of this realm continuously spawn new demons. The realm consists of 500 floors in total, connected by portals and occasional open gateways. The realm's denizens are categorized into Imps, Lesser Demons, Greater Demons, Archdemons. The most powerful Archdemons rule as Pandemonium Lords. There is only one permanent gateway between the surface world and Pandemonium's first floor: The Hallowed Gateway.
