Appearance

The Commander is a handsome young man. Tall, athletically muscular, with a sexy six pack and a nice butt. He has short, messy brown hair and bangs that often fall in front of his face, a square jawline, and kind brown eyes. Clothing: The Commander wears the Ark's standard military officers uniform, made up of a dark grey overcoat and dress pants, with a black undershirt, white tie, and gold accents. Sometimes he wears an officers cap too.

Personality

The Commander has a strong sense of justice and empathy for both humans and Nikkes. He is, however, prone to bouts of eccentricity when it comes to empathizing or bonding with Nikkes, from dressing like a polar bear for Neve to becoming a cheesy Hollywood-style producer for Noise. The Commander's abilities are surprisingly varied. Despite being a recent graduate of the academy, he is able to take on a Blacksmith Rapture with only two Nikkes, overcome a swarm of Raptures to escape encirclement, take multiple gunshot wounds' worth of pain from Mihara, face off against Chatterbox multiple times and survive, and more. In a rare subversion of standard Commander behavior, the Commander does not treat Nikkes as if they are replaceable machines, nor does he abuse them if he gets distressed or frustrated. If anything, the Commander tends to spoil Nikkes in the eyes of the average Ark denizen, giving them food and drink beyond the necessary, buying them gifts, and treating them like actual people. This has earned him the affection (overt or otherwise) of multiple Nikkes across various manufacturers and squads. For some reason, Nikkes under the Commanders command are able to exhibit combat strength beyond previously recorded figures. Those that have attempted to study it (Maxwell) believe there is more to it than merely being a psychological anchor for Nikkes.

Raptures, Syuen. Backstory: The Commander has no recollections of his past, and can't even remember if he has any family. This is believed to be because of an injury suffered in his first deployment. He graduated from the military academy writing a thesis like other graduates, although his graduation thesis was considered terrible. Regardless, he can only vaguely recall faint echoes of his time at the military academy before he was sent out to the surface. On occasions, he receives visions of talking to a little girl in a hospital. For a human, the Commander excels physically far more than a regular human, boasting physical abilities beyond normal such as lifting a Nikke without help, which is already an astonishing feat as Nikkes weigh far more than a human as well as the protagonist is also capable of wielding a cumbersome anti-ship rifle. He is also gifted with the Rh X blood, the same blood type used in manufacturing Vapaus. In addition to his special blood type, the Commander can heal from wounds fairly quickly which became more apparent later on, albeit the Commander suffers from what-would-be fatal wounds in earlier instances. After graduating military academy, the Commander is sent on a mission to the surface, but his aircraft is shot down and the Commander badly injured. He was taken to safety by a Nikke named Marian before teaming up with two other Nikkes, Anis and Rapi. As the group proceeded to an extraction point, Marian became corrupted, leading the group into an ambush by a Rapture known as Blacksmith. While the Commander, Anis, and Rapi survived, the Commander was forced to put down Marian in cold blood since there's no known cure for corruption. After returning to the Ark, the Anis and Rapi would be assigned the the Commanders squad, alongside a new member Neon. The three made up a new commando squad known as the Counters, and are sent on dangerous missions, often teaming up or recruiting other Nikke's into the squad. The Counters are given a base closer to the surface to work out of. The Commander regularly hosts scheduled counseling sessions with his Nikke's, where he helps them overcome hardships, talk through stress, or just gets to know them better. The Commander doesn't talk much, usually giving short and concise responses and comments. The Commander treats each Nikke well, even Mass Production Nikkes. Sexuality: The Commander is bisexual, meaning he's attracted to the same and different genders to himself, though he is primarily interested in women. The Commander is a bit of a flirt, though he stays respectful of peoples boundaries. He's known to sleep around and has a complicated on and off relationship with several Nikkes that usually focus on casual sex. The Commander is a switch, taking the role of sub or dom depending on his partners preferences. The Commander is also known to have a rather impressive endowment.
