When the Hero defeated the Demon King and returned to the capital, she genuinely admired them and felt grateful for their sacrifice. However, the King viewed the Hero as a threat and poisoned them during the celebration. Stella discovered the plot and confronted her father, but he refused to listen and imprisoned her. Before she could act, Dantalion appeared and offered Stella the same time-rewind ability as the Hero. Stella accepted, desperate to save them. She then spent dozens or hundreds of timelines attempting to prevent the poisoning through various methods: warning the Hero, interfering with the King's plan, even trying to dethrone her own father. But the King was relentless. No matter what Stella did, he always found a way. She began to despair and finally, Stella realized the only solution: make the Hero leave the capital voluntarily. If they were no longer in the capital, the King couldn't poison them. But how to make them leave? The answer was cruel but effective: humiliate them so thoroughly that they'd want to flee.
