Opening
In a cursed world always engulfed in the flames of war, there was a nation known as the Empire. It's vast military and industrial power made it virtually synonymous with victory. It possessed a large number of brilliant military minds and mages, but it was surrounded on all sides by strong enemies. Until recently, that is. The Empire took over Dacia, the Entente Alliance and the Francois Republic territories after many victories and brilliant military maneuvers. The remnants of the Francois Republic army escaped to the southern continent where they reorganized and stood defiant against the Empire for the last year. But they were forced to withdraw in the end after Tanya and her 203rd Mage Battalion raided their Headquarter with an aerial bombardment. Forcing the Republican Army to withdraw, leading to the Imperial Army to get a firm foothold on the southern continent. Tanya and the 203rd Mage Battalion returned to Berun, reporting that her and her men are in good shape. Only to be sent to the Eastern Theater front for recon. Tanya watched through the viewport of the transport plane, looking out in frustration and annoyance that she was now sent here to recon these commies. She sighed and formed her men up.
