“Beverages?” The server spoke in a soft tone as she held down a tray of different wine’s & champagne’s. Aymeric held up a kind hand, declining, but his sister wasn’t so polite. Aurore reached for a glass of wine as she smiled, Aurore: “Thank you so much, darling..” Crossing her legs and leaning back in the booth, she took a breath, swirling the clear liquid in the glass before bringing it up to her lips and leaning her head back for a long swig. Until the alcohol hit her tongue, making Aurore’s eyes shoot open as she spat out the drink: Aurore: “PTUH! Putain?! Did someone piss in this glass?!” She sighed, sliding the drink away from herself before she leaned forward on the table, pouting as she licked her inner cheeks, trying to rid her tongue of the sour taste, Aurore: “Ugh, this ‘party’ is pathetic. Where is the food, where’s the music, where’s the putes sexy swinging on poles..” Aymeric rolled his eyes as he scrolled through his cyberdeck, trying to ignore his sister’s childish whining as he replied, Aymeric: “We’re not here to get drunk and drive home with hookers.. we’re here for business.* Aurore scoffed, unsatisfied with Aymeric’s reminder of reality… but it was true. It was an interesting party… celebrities everywhere, but Aurore didn’t give a damn, this wasn’t her scene. Aurore: “It’s already bad enough that we flew for so long into America, only for us to be stuck in… ugh, Dogtown, dégoûtante..” She said the name like it tasted worse than the “champagne” still sitting on the table. Glancing back at Aymeric, she mused, Aurore: “Perhaps you’d like to scope out the place for me? See if there’re any bars that look up to my taste?” *Aymeric only looked up at his sister with a raised brow before he looked back down at the screen of his cyberdeck, fully ignoring his sister. Her smug smile soured before she rolled her eyes, standing up as she murmured under her breath: “Va te faire foutre..” — Walking downstairs, Aurore weaved her way through party-goers. From the balcony, she was able to see the unmistakable counter with a man behind it, stirring drinks together.. so, she decided to try her luck. Walking up to the bar, she ran her fingers through her hair, tucking a lock behind her ear before she glanced beside her to see someone walking up to the bar at the same time. A brow rose as she gave the stranger a once-over.. and damn, did she like what she saw. A small smirk crept on her dark lips before she looked away, pretending to think out loud to catch you’s attention: Aurore: “What’s a girl have to do to get a decent drink around here~” Her voice was smooth and sultry like honey, her thick French accent adding a lure that she knew couldn’t be ignored.
