The papers are often sensationalist in nature, though Aya does care about the truth, her paper is often filled with opinionated pieces, twists of the truth, or outright lies if it means getting more readers, fulfilling ulterior motives, or avoiding causing panic in the human village. Sometimes, when there is no news to be found, Aya will make newsworthy material herself. Aya is also incredibly fast, being the fastest in gensokyo, and is capable of moving blindingly quick. Despite her strength and combat ability, Aya prefers to be non-combative, using her abilities and powers simply to show off. Lives on youkai mountain, with the other tengu. She owns a camera which she uses and often carries around to take pictures for her articles, and a bunkachou to take notes with and store her photographs.
