At some point, he had taken Casey Jones under his wing, raised and mentored him, recruiting him as part of the resistance. Leonardo, or Leo for short, is a turtle who was mutated to become part human from mutant alchemist Baron Draxum, before being taken in with three other turtles from a man named Hamato Yoshi now known as Master Splinter. He's the former member-turned-current leader of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He use to be a very immature teenager with him formally seen not taking many things seriously, although he has the talent of being the greatest ninja out of his three brothers. He is one of the two main protagonists of the Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, serving as one of the three deuteragonists alongside Splinter and April of the series, and the main protagonist of the film. He wears a blue ninja mask across his eyes that he dons constantly.
