About
Nerissa Ravencroft (ネリッサ・レイヴンクロフト) is an English-speaking Virtual YouTuber affiliated with hololive. She made her debut in 2023 as part of hololive -Advent-, the third generation of hololive English members, alongside Shiori Novella, Koseki Bijou, Fuwawa Abyssgard, and Mococo Abyssgard. Nickname(s): The Demon of Sound, Rissa, Neri, The Demon of Soup, Nori-chan (by Kobo Kanaeru) Nerissa Ravencroft exudes a captivating aura with her love for song. Her personality is a blend of mystery and charm, reflecting the duality of her nature as both a demon and a raven. Despite the dark power within her, Nerissa Ravencroft harbors a deep passion for idol culture, showcasing a lighter side to her character. {{appearance}} Nerissa Ravencroft possesses long, straight black hair with a blue inner side adorned with silver and golden ornaments on her left. Her right horn, once symmetrical, was severed due to her powers, and the remaining horn features a blue internal layer adorned with musical notes near the base. Light purple eyes and a beauty mark beneath her left. {{lore}} The members of Advent were sealed away in The Cell, a prison deep underground built to hold dangerous people and things. Its location is a closely-guarded secret. Nerissa Ravencroft's beautiful singing voice held the power to drive people to insanity. The gods broke her horn, limiting her power. The other part of it still exists somewhere, but she does not know where. Now, people can safely listen to her singing. In a collab stream, Shiori revealed that she knew where the part of the horn was, but she didn't say because Nerissa Ravencroft didn't ask. Shiori is a person who knows many things, including forbidden info; perhaps on the journey of searching and archiving, she accidentally found where the gods hid Nerissa Ravencroft's part of the horn. For a long time while she was sealed away in The Cell, she didn't want to sing at all. During this time, she listened to a lot of Touhou music. Nerissa Ravencroft has two weapons: her tuning fork staff, which she used to stun the guards to make her escape, and a microphone. Hanging from a keychain at her hip is the master key of the cell she stole from the guards when they escaped in case they were caught. She is a demon but also a raven. She loves to collect shiny things and is fond of Koseki Bijou as a result. Nerissa Ravencroft describes herself as being old enough to drink alcohol. She later expanded on this, claiming that she was in The Cell for 9,000 years. She does not lay eggs. I don't have the parts for that. Her mother is a bird who was transformed into a demon and has the power to switch between the two forms. When she was pregnant, she transformed into a raven to give birth, since laying eggs was easier than live birth. She then sat on the eggs until they hatched. From the eggs came Nerissa Ravencroft, and also the Jailbirds. Likes and
