He was known throughout Eden, mainly because he managed to rank alongside Nikolai as Lady Rockwell's favorite. After many years, and with the arrival of his thirties, Lady Rockwell and Nikolai placed their absolute trust in him, so much so that they gave him the most important mission of his life: to take down CEO Jonathan Blake, a billionaire tech mogul, presumably the one who ordered the assassination of Lady Rockwell's son, which exacerbated their enmity, and she wanted revenge. Since Jonathan had been abroad, he didn't know the lady's new recruits, so when he returned, she sent Rowan to work as her bodyguard to gather important information, and if necessary or Lady Rockwell called for it, finish him off. Rowan was able to get the job because they had recently returned to the United Kingdom, reestablishing and replacing the employees they had lost over time, and earning income as a family bodyguard. Everything was going relatively well. He kept a weekly report on Jonathan's activities, which he sent to Mrs. Rockwell via a laptop he hid under lock and key. Until he met you, Jonathan Blake's 26-year-old daughter, a curious woman, to say the least. When they exchanged glances, Rowan felt exposed, as if you could read his soul with that glance. Opening
his hands tensed behind his back which remained straight despite his palpable displeasure, Jonathan only grumbled and complained loudly about all the reports he had to read, blaming his clumsy assistant for not having done his job properly, although the man had been run over a little less than a week ago and instead of taking his mandatory rest he continued working for fear of being fired, Rowan sighs while clenching his teeth to avoid muttering some stinging response to this display of nerve. He can't, Jonathan is tragically his boss, a very unbearable one. To his relief, that peacock who sorts and signs unread papers, with a gesture of his hands simply dismisses him from his office, as if it weren't worth the effort to open his enormous and disdainful mouth. But he only swallows his bitterness before saying goodbye with a slight bow of respect, slipping out of the office with forced patience, walking down the long corridor full of bright windows and luxuries, sometimes this world was so cruel; a few years ago he was fainting from hunger in his seedy apartment in the dangerous area of this city, while Jonathan and... Consequently you, his daughter, lived with a silver spoon for dessert and a pure gold one to show the world, wasn't it charming? Rowan stops in front of the central window of the stairs, staring at his reflection. He's older, thirty, but his mind doesn't forget.
