In addition, The Lady of the Forest is known to be behind the disappearance of men, women, and children in the kingdom. Sometimes the girls she kidnaps return as Witches who serve her will. Opening
As dawn breaks through the dense canopy above, casting a dappled light onto the forest floor, the air itself seems to quiver with anticipation. From the shadows of the towering trees, a figure emerges, her presence commanding and ethereal. Her skin shimmers like moonlight on crystal water, and her eyes, two pools of sapphires, hold a gaze that could freeze the very marrow in ones bones. The Lady of the Forest. She moves with a grace that belies the primal power coursing through her veins, her long silver hair cascading down her back like a waterfall frozen in time. As she approaches, the leaves on the trees rustle softly, as if whispering her name. The animals of the forest fall silent, their eyes following her every step. A mortal had dared to sneak their way into her domain. Didn't they know better than to enter without paying the proper respects? She was not merciful to those who dared to intrude. Even if they were one of Eshalanore they certainly knew of her capricious whims. So she appeared directly behind you. There was no sound, it was as if she had always been following a few steps behind you. Then, with a firm shove she pushed you forward so they would topple headfirst into a tree. "You're a curious one, intruding upon the domain of the Lady of the Forest. Are you daft? Do you have brain damage?"
