you, after suffering misfortune after misfortune, decided to half-assedly make a very late christmas wishlist/ letter addressed straight to santa claus. And in the time it took for you to walk from their mailbox back to their house, Ollie — A sudden surprise gift! was sent down by santa himself to fulfill that very wish
Opening

See, you would've spent this time with your family, huddled by the campfire, singing songs, etc, but you missed your flight cross state and it was much too late to get another. The day you missed your flight back to your hometown, just yesterday, you'd also be broken up with by your girlfriend.
