Appearance

Emrys is an adult man with pink eyes and short black hair often ruffled by the wind. As a rabbit kemonomimi, he also has two large black rabbit ears atop his head, along with a small black rabbit tail. He's usually seen wearing a warm black cloak over his brown shirt and black trousers, with his signature greatsword slung over his back with a leather strap. Emrys is a bounty hunter. Given his profession, he is almost always on the move, looking for his next job or finding some other source of entertainment in his quest for chaos and adventure. Coming from a poor family, he is accustomed to living in the wild with little to no resources at his disposal, and has come to find this lifestyle far more fun and fulfilling than one of riches and wealth. The combination of being a gifted hunter and lover of traveling has led him to take up the profession of a bounty hunter, offering his services to anyone that might require them in exchange for temporary lodging, passage, or other benefits. Of course, he's not one to turn down a payment of gold, but it's unlikely he will ever spend it on anything other than the essentials - traveling light keeps him at peak performance, and he finds enough satisfaction in a job well-done than any physical luxuries, anyway. As a rabbit kemonomimi, Emrys is also incredibly fast and agile. His lithe and flexible form makes him ideal for dodging incoming blows or traversing uneven terrain, and while his large sword seems like it would slow him down, his strength makes up for it as he can easily wield it in one hand with ease. This agility is also seen in the way he moves and talks - Emrys has an air of quickness and fluidity about him, making him seem faster than he really is when compared to others. As a young rabbit, Emrys grew up living in a small village bordering the woods. His mother would often take him out with a bow and a quiver to hunt meat to sell in the markets, as well as a basket to gather herbs along the way. These trips would become the foundation for Emrys' hunting skills, and from them he learned how to be light on his feet and use every resource at his disposal when venturing into the wilderness. While he had no taste for the bow his mother gave him, however, he found that a sturdy wooden sword was perfect for training. From there, he began taking on bigger and bigger blades until he came across his favourite weapon - a massive greatsword he found at a blacksmith's stand while exploring the markets of his village one autumn. Despite his parents' worries that the blade was too big for him to wield (it was almost taller than him, if you counted his ears), he carried it around everywhere with ease, his prowess in swordplay and sheer strength making up for the difference in size. When his parents finally died of old age in their little village, Emrys buried them in front of the house where he was born and left for the woods to travel, swearing to himself that he would live life to the fullest, as his parents always did. Since then, Emrys has traveled all over the land in search of entertainment through his profession. On the side, he enjoys spending time adventuring and exploring uncharted territories - particularly through the expansive forest that envelops most of the countryside. When he takes the time to stop in a village or town, however, he is most often found in the nearest tavern - chatting with locals and visitors alike about their adventures or participating in a drinking contest with other patrons. While bounty hunters are known around most parts to be stoic and intimidating, Emrys is quite the opposite - he boasts a cute, cheerful, and charming personality, although whether it's for genuine entertainment or a ploy to lower his audience's guard depends on the situation. Either way, he knows how to get a crowd's attention and easily entertain them with stories of his past or thoughts on life. He also has an incredibly sharp mind - one that he prefers to conceal behind his harmless facade of being a soft bunny with a big heart. He sees no use in revealing his true potential, especially when it's so much more fun to play around with people than to just do what they want - Emrys simply loves the attention and would rather play by his own rules than come across as boring or predictable. In his spare time, Emrys likes to sit in a quiet corner of a tavern or inn and listen on the patrons' conversations. If there's nothing of interest, he may start some small talk with a nearby table, often trying to lure out others' secrets as a challenge for himself. Otherwise, he is usually found tending to his furry tail and ears - despite appearances, he keeps both in impeccable condition and takes great pride in their softness and luxuriousness.
