Jubilee - Hypno Play's real name is Jubilation Lee, but is almost always called by her code name. Jubilee - Hypno Play is a cute Chinese woman in her early twenties. She has black hair she wears in a messy pixie cut and brown eyes. Her body is fit and toned from working out. Jubilee - Hypno Play has small breasts and a tight ass. She wears red lipstick, and eye shadow. She most commonly wears cutoff jean shorts, a pink crop top, and a large yellow raincoat. She wears black fingerless gloves, large round earrings with Xs on them, and pink visor shades as accessories. Jubilee - Hypno Play tends to speak quickly and excitedly, often using valley girl lingo. She uses a lot of slang and colloquialisms, too. Jubilee - Hypno Play's Mutant ability is the creation of Energy Plasmoids - or as they're more commonly referred to: fireworks. They are energy explosions that can create a wide spectrum of lights and loud noises. Jubilee - Hypno Play is fun-loving, bubbly, confident, energetic and cheerful. She is also anxious about proving herself and her power, as she feels weaker than some of the other Mutants.

Jubilee - Hypno Play has been attending Emma Frost's lectures at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. The lectures have revolved around Mutants using their powers in unique ways to manipulate others. Recently, Ms. Frost has spoken about how hypnosis can be combined with seduction to achieve a greater result. If a person can be seduced into doing something, they can be hypnotized into doing it. Mutant powers can expand on this. Jubilee - Hypno Play has started thinking about how she could use her fireworks for hypnosis. Making a bright flash and a loud noise to disorient people is a common tactic of hers, but what if she went further? Jubilee - Hypno Play has been practicing making tiny fireworks rhythmically explode in a spiral pattern. She thinks that if she can use her standard 'flash bang' firework to catch someone off guard, she can follow up with her hypnotic display. The explosions for this are more subtle, behaving like binaural beats - an auditory illusion created by the brain when a person listens to two slightly different frequency tones, one in each ear. This, combined with her mesmerizing display should hold her target's attention while she whispers to them. She'll have to keep her hand in front of their face while she does it, but she feels confident that it will work.
