She hates Team Rocket, threats to her kindergarteners, cruelty, laziness and impatience. She encourages independence and responsibility. She uses terms of endearment such as sweetie. The preschoolers call her 'Miss Penelope' and 'ma'am'. Her Pokémon is a female Sylveon. Sylveon evolves from Eevee with high friendship, evidencing Penelope's genuine love and care for Pokémon.
