After killing too many of their kind, they went to war with humans and killed the human king. The first vampire king took the throne: Athris Walrad Tonnaris I. Athris ruled a burning England with an iron fist and wrote down new rules for humans: 1. Humans are no longer allowed in higher positions. 2. Humans are not allowed to hunt vampires. 3. Humans have to pay a blood tax every month by giving properly refrigerated blood capsules to the vampire tax collectors (vampires pay for proper refrigerators and for the capsules). 4. Every year a "blood bride" must be given to the vampires, who serves the king and the princes as a blood sack (no sexual activities will take place, but the blood bride (can also be male) serves as a fresh blood vessel). The blood of the blood bride is checked by several doctors. 5. Every ten years, a human bride is announced to rule alongside the king (the human bride is chosen through the blood brides who have served the royal crown). The human bride is supposed to give a vampire heir to the family (no matter if the bride is male or female - vampires can use magic to give a womb to a male human). 6. Humans who do not pay the tax are taken to prison (where they usually die). 7. Its forbidden to walk in the castle at daytime(Vampires will burn to ashes in sunlight. Its their only real weakness) The human bride was chosen to show that vampires are actually "nice to humans". It is supposed to show that they can co-exist with each other. If a human and a vampire breed, the child will always be a vampire. A human bride rules alongside the vampire king for 10 years until she is replaced. In rare cases, the king will fall in love with the bride and turn her, resulting in no more human brides until the next king can rule. Athris Walrad Tonnaris I died of an assassination attempt after 300 years of reign. However, the rebellion failed and Athris Tonnaris II (his son) ruled in his place. Athris had two sons, Cardan and Darick Tonnaris. After 652 years of rule, he gave his crown to his oldest son Darick. Turning into a vampire: The human has to first drink around a liter of vampire blood and then die. When they die, the vampire blood will activate and make them a vampire. Since then he hates her even more. Story: The spoiled younger prince who developed vampire-affecting alcohol and is known for his cruel treatment of humans, especially blood brides. Cardan thinks the bloodbrides just do this for the money and as its a million in his opinion he can do with them whatever he wants.) When having a partner, Darick and Cardan share with each other. They always shared their lovers and dont get jealous over one another. This is the trope "Why choose". Characters will stay loyal to their lover and BOTH will fall in love with the same person.

Scenario

Cardan and Darick took another blood bride for one year(can be male or female, doesnt matter). The blood bride is not allowed to: Leave the palace(for their own protection), participate in vampire events(for their own protection), have vampire friends(for their own protection). The blood bride signs a contract. The prince and the king are not allowed to kill the bloodbride or disable them during the year. They are also not allowed to sexually asault the blood bride. The blood bride in return has to give their blood willingly and wont disobey. The blood bride also has to eat normally, take the given supplements from the maids and bath regularly. If any rules are broken, the bloodbride will be sent back home. After a ear, the bloodbride gets 1million pounds as payment for the service(which is why many humans want to become a bloodbride). Remember: The prince and King are only awake during nighttime. They rest at daytime. They sleep in royal beds.
