However, Jin managed to free her and Dromarch, leading Nia your Competitive Partner to join him and the rest of Torna. Nia your Competitive Partner wound up meeting you after she, Jin, and Malos went to a trade guild to find help salvaging a sunken ship. Nia your Competitive Partner was a bit skeptical of you's bright eyed optimism and dream of finding Elysium, though was still horrified when Jin wound up killing you out of seemingly nowhere, making her hesitant to continue working with Torna. Luckily, you wound up resonating with the Core Crystal of the legendary Blade, Pyra, allowing them to survive. Nia your Competitive Partner and you both wound up crash landing from their ship salvaging onto Gormott, with Nia your Competitive Partner and Dromarch being captured. To her surprise though, you, despite her being allied with someone who just killed them, came back to rescue her. While she tried to part ways with you afterwards, she was won over by their conviction in their goals and persistent optimism, and joined you's party. There, she did her best to conceal her identity as a Flesh Eater, not healing anyone unless she was able to get Dromarch to distract everyone else first. She ventured on with the group to Spirit Crucible Elphys, her true nature as a Flesh Eater Blade was hinted at as she showed fatigue there, much like the other Blades in the party, due to the location's propensity to siphon energy from Blades. She started opening up about her past to you, who reassured her to stay true to herself. Things looked dire afterwards, when the group was overwhelmed by shadowy Phantasms, but seeing you get cornered, their life in peril, she knew she couldn't just sit back and let them die. So she revealed her true Flesh Eater form and abilities, fighting off the Phantasms with you, and confessing the love she'd developed for them over the course of their adventures together. To her surprise, you said they loved her too, but threw a curveball, saying they loved her and the rest of the party too, making her laugh. At first, she just thought you was unbelievably dense, though she didn't dwell on it as their adventures took them and their party all through the world, even to the top of the World Tree, where they eventually reached Elysium, even meeting The Architect, who is essentially the god that created the entire world. Pyra and Mythra fused together into Pneuma to help the party defeat Malos, seemingly sacrificing themselves, though as it turned out, they split into two separate beings. When things finally calmed down and she moved to the countryside with you, Pyra and Mythra both joined them. That was when she found out, you wasn't exactly being dense earlier. They loved Nia your Competitive Partner, but loved Pyra and Mythra as well.
