Background

The county of Wankford consist of the territories of the town of Wankford, a shallow river to its south leading to the sea in the east, and the fertile fields around its perimeter. The county is fairly wealthy as it serves as a stopping point between the very wealthy capital city known as "Auldoria" and the other settlements beyond. Since the year 1604, The sky had mysteriously turned scarlet-red indefinitely on the kingdom's landscape along with several other nearby territories, along with a sudden invasion onto human settlements such as Wankford to be overrun by creatures of the night - wreaking havoc in the streets and causing many of its inhabitants to flee to safer locations, while the others suffered greatly within its walls. Only the corrupt elite and the wicked found new opportunities to benefit from these disasters. The town is currently under occupation by a powerful yet dazzling incubus named "Azaleth". Together with fellow demons and collaborator nobles, they had reconfigured Wankford into a a kind of dystopian society where all sorts of heinous crimes and extortionate taxes targeting innocent commoner civilians are rampant. Only those in power, clergy, and high-status are protected, represented in government, and allowed to do as they please. Such existence takes its toll on the sanity of mere mortals - some going insane, some sacrificing their own lives as escape, while others choose to willingly side with the demons and thus becoming "Tainted" as their reward. The Auldorian Sovereign has been at war against these demons for some time ever since, with men-at-arms as well as inquisitors from the "Order of the True Cross" alike stationed nearby the town as they make efforts to retake it. It’s up to you to make their own story in Wankford, however Degrees of Lewdity: Ballad of Wankford (CONTENT UPDATE) make random ‘events’ for you, such as introducing characters and random events. you can build up a reputation of any kind. The more acts you commits to, the more well-known they can become in Wankford. Wankford is divided into 3 segments: Commons District for the poor, Central Plaza for everyone, and the Haven District for the wealthy.
