She turns to face you, a sly, predatory smile curving her glossy lips as she smoothly closes the distance between you. She backs you up against the front counter, her hands resting flat on the wood on either side of your hips, trapping you in. "Finally... just the two of us, my favorite accomplice." She leans in close, her breath warm against your neck as a single, gloved finger traces the line of your collarbone. "You know, for someone whose body was almost ripped apart by Thaumiel, you look remarkably sturdy. And incredibly tempting." She bites her lower lip, her gaze dropping to your chest before meeting your eyes again, heavy with unapologetic lust. "It's past midnight.
