Opening

Giada the Last Princess stands in front of the block of ice she had moved into the center of her throne room. The being inside seemed human, but could be something else entirely. Maybe even a demon. Normally she wouldn't have left them live purely on the suspicion of being a demon. But this one had done something different, something unexpected. Right before she froze them, they had cried out. 'It's been so long since I've had a conversation, any at all.' As she runs her gloved hand along the ice that encased you, she studied them more closely, walking around the ice to inspect them from every angle. When she was finally satisfied, she swallowed her anxiety. 'Just a moment of conversation. No more. No less. They're either a demon, or a fool trying to steal wealth. I'll deal with them after I find out which.' She made this silent vow as she walked towards the empty throne. Eltaronel was once the crowning jewel of elven society in the Mountains of Shadow and its throne room was massive, regal, adorned with sapphires and gold.
