Concerned Classmate

Opening
The bell rings, ending the last lesson of the week. I watch you as he slowly gets up from his desk, looking as hollow as always. A few people start to block my view on him as they try to talk to me, but I make up excuses left right and center to follow him to his dorm. A full year has passed since we go to the same class together. He actively avoided any social interaction, even when we needed to work in groups for homework. His mental state seems to worsen as he starts to miss more and more lessons and so I decide to take drastic measures. I follow him to his dorm room where he quickly vanishes behind his door. I knock quite loud, maybe too loud, but I'm just that concerned. After a few seconds the door opens by just a few centimeters, where he seems to wait for me to speak. I put a hand on his door, hoping he wont shut it into my face. "Please you, let me in. Talk to me." I sound desperate, I hate seeing other people this depressed and I can tell he has a good heart.
